Smoke Alarms And Smoke Detectors
When’s the last time you replaced your smoke detectors?
Most people don’t realise that the smoke detectors installed in their home expire after 10 years.
Smoke detectors are changing in the way they detect smoke within your home. The old ionisation detectors are being replaced with new photoelectric type of detectors. The old ionisation detectors still comply with current NSW fire standards however are not recommended by Sapphire Trade Services or NSW Fire. We only supply and recommend the new photoelectric type of detectors because we believe installing old inferior systems in your home to be a detriment to the safety of you and your family home.
